Media has changed. Storytelling has not. Cleo Murphy has been telling stories for thirty years, in the written word for newspapers, magazines, and websites; in the spoken word through radio documentaries and podcasts.
She has worked for publishers in London, Dubai and Waterford, planning, commissioning and editing projects for daily, weekly and monthly publication.
Features…articles…podcasts…eletters…radio scripts…web content…she has produced them all.
With an MA in Editing and Publishing, she has edited books and ghost-written memoirs.
Through her radio documentaries she has covered arts, culture, history and heritage, drawing out her interviewees and and carefully weaving their stories with music and soundscapes.
As an award-winning freelance travel writer, she has penned reams of travel copy, but her home is Kerry, in the south-west of Ireland – a place brimming with creativity and ideas that never ceases to inspire her.
